I am so inspired by the service members who refuse to serve the US empire. This country is complicit and responsible for genocide.

To quote Itzhak Brik, a retired IDF general, "All of our missiles, the ammunition, the precision-guided bombs, all the airplanes and bombs, it's all from the U.S. The minute they turn off the tap, you can't keep fighting. You have no capability. ... Everyone understands that we can't fight this war without the United States. Period." (November 27, 2023)

I'm glad service members understand the writing on the wall: the USA is conducting genocide through Israel. I'm so humbled and thrilled and impressed by those who do the work to live up to their principles and file for conscientious objection.

I applaud your bravery and courage and righteousness! I support all of you! Thanks for the excellent write-up Mike!

Bless you, Mike. Little rays of hope by the conscientious men we might honor.

These are men with a conscience, awakening to see the true face of America.

What if they started a war and nobody showed up?

I hope that more U.S. servicemen refuse to fight and that they specifically cite the Zionist Genocide as their reason!

Good piece of journalism, Mike! Thank you for getting it out there. Here's a link to Appeal for Redress v2, which active duty, guard and reservists are sending to Congress. https://www.veteransforpeace.org/?cID=1351

Army is there to defend their county, not to invade other countries for profits and murder innocent people for hegemony! That’s right, won’t murder for the sake of corrupt governments

Spoken with clarity. I love Mike’s writing and the way he weaves his own experiences in the military through articles, it makes it easier to personalise. Especially the “in the vehicle port hiding from the Platoon Commanders” quip, because that’s exactly what i used to do and where i used to do it!

Abby & Mike,

I subscribed to your Substack weeks ago but you never appear in my Substack Feed

Apparently, Michigan, Minnesota and Oregon are the only states with no military bases, according to military dot com.

And the Eisenhower Media Network posted this in April

Google suppressed a map of US defense contractor plants. Until we asked why.

Google took down a map of publicly available addresses of arms plants for violating its policy on “dangerous & illegal activities.” It did so shortly after an outlet critical of Israel republished it.
